The woman is more live by brothers and cousin, Doug Bacon, Norman (Lila) Bacon, Lee (Inga) Bacon, and Janet Robinson; siblings-in-law, Pat Bacon and Wayne (Wanda) Jahn; most nieces and nephews; and extended families.
Elaine is preceded in death by her mothers; cousin and brothers, Phyllis Moe, Jack Bacon, and Richard Bacon; and brother-in-law, Leland Moe.

She was born on 25, 1927, to John and Mabel (Lacrosse) Monfils and lifted about families farm. She partnered Harry Massart on June 8, 1954, at St. Hubert Catholic chapel in Rosiere, and collectively ran the family farm.
